Transportation Department, Waller ISD

 

Primary Purpose:  Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities to and from school and other designated locations.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Must be 18 years of age

 

Special Knowledge/ Skills:

Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively

Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment

Ability to work well with children with disabilities

Ability to manage student behavior

 

Experience:

None

                                               

SALARY / WORK DAYS:    Salary range starts at minimum $12.97 hourly; 8 hours daily; 176 days annually
